The Star Power Boosted Booster is the best one for 8-bit because the range boost is actually very useful, and your team can now benefit the Damage Booster. In terms of Gadgets, Cheat Cartridge remains the best one overall because it’s really broken in various situations and especially in Gem Grab. It enables 8-bit to have a lot of mobility and escape from a lot of deadly ambushes. In terms of gears, the best one is the Reload Speed and the second one is the Health one because 8-bit has a lot of HP, he will get quicker in the fight with this gear.

The Star Power Plugged is useful because you can play more aggressive and dodge enemy’s shots more easily. The Speed boost is pretty good, and it enables him to have a decent movement speed. 8-bit shoots 6 beams with his Blaster gun, each one dealing 640 damage. 8-bit has the longest range among Damage Dealers, which makes him very dangerous for any short range brawler. 8-bit deals insane damage even at long range and can kill most Brawlers in only two shots.
Super
8-bit puts his Damage Booster on the ground. It’s a turret that increases 8-bit’s and his allies’ damage by 35% while they’re inside the Damage Booster. This damage boost is huge, especially since it’s for the entire team, and enemies are forced to kill the turret really quick if they don’t want to lose control over the map. The damage boost remains as long as the ally Brawler stays inside the Damage Booster. Because your turret is very important for you and your allies, you must protect it and place it in a safe spot.

8-Bit’s turret now has a laser that shoots nearby enemies. Shots do 230 damage. He also receives a 26% speed boost, a +25% damage boost and a 5% shield.
Cheat Cartridge
8-bit teleports instantly to his Damage Booster. This Gadget is very useful for 8-bit because of his very slow movement speed. Indeed, he can’t really flee from his enemies or chase them. With this Gadget, he can place the turret behind him and go away when the danger comes, or place it forward and teleport to put pressure on low enemies.
Extra Credits
The next basic attack will have 3 times more projectiles than usual: 18 instead of 6. With this, you now deal 11520 damage with only one attack! You can one shot almost anyone, even tanks, or destroy the safe in Heist. Combined with the Booster Damage, the Gadget deals 15552 damage. However, the attack lasts longer than a regular one, so you won’t be able to change targets until the end of the attack, and you will be vulnerable. If you hit almost all the projectiles of one Gadget, you will have your Super fully charged.
Boosted Booster
The Damage Booster’s range is increased by 50% and the damage boost is now 50% instead of 35%. The turret becomes incredibly strong for your team, so you must protect it! The range now becomes very large, and your entire team can benefit the damage boost, even if they’re not really close from the Damage Booster. This Star Power is really effective when trying to keep mid-control because of the increased range. Finally, with this Star Power, it becomes easier to place your turret in a safe spot while having the benefits of the damage boost.
Plugged in
A second circle appears around the Damage Booster: the Movement Speed circle. It has a radius twice longer than the Damage Boost circle. As long as 8-Bit stays in this circle, his movement speed is greatly increased. This Star Power is funny to play, since 8-bit becomes a fast Brawler, even faster than most other Brawlers. This Star Power is meant to erase 8-bit’s the biggest weakness: his slowness.

Take the Gems and escape with your gadget
When you’re playing Gem’s Grab with 8-bit as a gem carrier and there are gems in the middle, you can actually take the gems even if there are enemies shooting at you and then use your Gadget to teleport yourself back into your side of the map.
Dodge deadly shots with your Gadget
When you’re low on HP and you have the Damage Booster on the map, you can continue playing aggressive and try to take down enemies because every time you’re about to receive a deadly shot, you can just use the Gadget to teleport to the Damage Booster in order to dodge that deadly shot. This technique is pretty strong in passive modes. It’s easy with this Gadget to teleport before getting hit when you have time to anticipate it, like a Dynamike’s Super.
