What is Ranked ?
Power league is dead. RANKED is here !
Ranked is the new competitive game mode that replaced the Power League game mode. You unlock the Ranked game mode at 1000 trophies and you will earn rewards depending on how high you climb the ranks. In this game mode, you can only play with Power Level 9+ Brawlers.
Ranked restart every season and you will play different maps and modifiers every season.
You will find everything you need to know about Ranked here in order to rise up the Ranks and become a Brawl Stars master !
How the RANKED game mode works ?
In Ranked, you will play 3v3 games on random maps and with random modifiers. You can play it alone, or with one or two friends but keep in mind that you won’t be able to play with friends if you have a large rank difference.
In the Ranked game mode, you can only play with Brawlers that are at Power Level 9 or above.
In this game mode, you will increase your rank score by winning Ranked battles. You will unlock cool rewards at every new Rank you get.
The Ranked game mode will have different specificities depending on which rank you are.
To start the Ranked game mode you need to have at least 3 Brawlers at Power Level 9+ to play.
Between Bronze I rank and Gold III rank the games will be a best of one round and you won’t have banning phase, so the games will be pretty quick.
Then, when you reach Diamond I, you will need at least 12 Brawlers at Power Level 9+ to play Ranked and it will be a best of three rounds with a banning phase.Â
Ranks and rewards
When playing Ranked games, you will gain or loose Ranked points.
The amount of Ranked points you gain or loose is relative to the Ranked Score of the opponents you face. This means you gain a higher score from winning against higher-ranked players (and lose less from defeats) and earn less when playing against lower-ranked players (and loose more from defeats).
Increase your Rank Score by winning Ranked Battles to improve your Rank and earn Rewards.
Rise through the Ranks and earn exclusive Rewards. You will get a cool reward at every ranks. There are 7 ranks categories and each category is divided into 3 Tiers. You need 500 points to reach a new Tier and 1500 points to reach a new Rank category. The Ranked categories are Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, Mythic, Legendary and Master.
For each new Tier reached you’ll get a Ranked Star Drop. When you reach a new Rank category you will also get an Epic, Mythic or Legendary Starr Drop depending on which Rank category you’ve reached.Â
For every Rank you reach, you will also get a Battle Card Ranked Background. It is visible on your Battle Card and it shows off your Rank Tier. The Ranked Backgrounds carry over to the following season, but for one season only. So if you want to keep your Background, you need to continue playing Ranked each Season.
Ranked starr drop
Ranked Starr Drop contain Blings, Profil Icons, seasonal skins and seasonal spraysÂ
Increase your Rank in Ranked Mode to earn bigger and better rewards from Ranked Starr Drops! Each time you reach Tiers II and III within your current Rank, you will have one Ranked Starr Drop.
Here you can find all the rewards you can have in a Ranked Starr Drop and the reward chance for each rewards.
Reputation meter
When you play Ranked, you’ll get a reputation meter that shows how respectful you are in Ranked games. You can find your reputation meter on your profil. If your reputation drops in yellow, you’ll get a yellow card to warn you that more penalties will result in suspension of Ranked games. Then, if your reputation drops in red, you’ll get prevented from playing Ranked games for some time. So make sure to keep your reputation and be a respectful Brawl Stars player !Â
You can loose reputation by leaving battles, by grief playing or by cheating. If you finish Ranked games without any penalties or reports, you will gain reputation.Â
Ranked season and Rank reset
A ranked season last one month and it coincide with the beginning of the Brawl Pass season. Everyone’s Rank will be reset to Bronze I at the start of every Season. However, you’ll receive a Rank Boost, which accelerates your journey through the Ranks by giving an extra boost to your Rank Score after each victory. The Rank Boost only last until you’ve reached your highest previous Rank (until Legendary) , so getting back to your old Rank shouldn’t take long.

Other modifiers from previous Ranked season
The modifiers change every season and you can find here the modifiers from previous seasons.
Hitting an enemy with an attack instantly reloads 5% of ammo
Our tips for this modifier:
Because you will reload some ammo for each bullet that hits an enemy, we recommend you to pick a Brawler that shoots multiple bullets at the time. You will have more chance to hit the enemy multiple times and you will have so much ammo. In this modifier when you hit the safe in Heist you will also reload some ammo. Because of this, some Brawlers will have infinite ammo when hitting the safe and it is insanely strong ! Â
Best Brawlers for this modifier:
All Brawlers are immune to stuns, slows and knock backs
Our tips for this modifier:
With this modifier, everyone is immune to stuns, slows and knock backs. This modifier makes a lot of Super useless such as Tara’s or Frank’s Super. Moreover, a lot of Brawlers will loose their knock back Gadget and they will become more vulnerable. That’s why the assassin and tanks will benefit the most from this modifier. Finally, because you will face a lot of assassins and tanks with this modifier, you can also choose an anti tank Brawler.
Best Brawlers for this modifier:
All Brawlers have HP equal to the highest Brawler of the team
Our tips for this modifier:
Because your team will have the same health as the ally that has the most health, we recommend you to have one Brawler that has a lot of HP in your team. It can also be very interesting to have a colette in your team because your opponents will all have a lot of HP.
Best Brawlers for this modifier:
Our tips for this modifier:
With this modifier, you’ll play a regular Brawl Stars game, but at twice the speed. Since the game progresses faster, the meta doesn’t change much. Make sure to pick the best Brawlers according to our tier list to stay competitive!

Damage now causes an additional damage (10%) over time effect on enemies
Our tips for this modifier:
Because the additional damage is based on how much damage you deal, you will get the maximum value of this modifier with Brawlers that deal a lot of damage. Moreover, you should pick a long range Brawler so that you can wait for your opponent to die slowly with the modifier effect while you are safe.
