Best build
The best build for Colt is the Magnum Special Star Power and the Speedloader Gadget. Speedloader serves as an excellent tool to reload quickly and can also be a game-changer, especially in Heist, allowing you to put constant pressure on enemies and keep fighting longer. Magnum Special is a powerful Star Power, making it easier to hit your shots and preventing snipers from outranging you, which makes them much easier to fight. This Star Power is the best choice in passive modes and against long-range Brawlers. When engaging enemies, the Damage Gear is your trusted ally for maximizing your damage output, while the Reload Speed Gear ensures you can keep up the pressure and deal as much damage as possible.

The Slick Boots Star Power can be a good option, especially if you’re facing only mid and short range Brawlers, or in closed maps. Thanks to that, you can dodge, chase and escape enemies more easily. But it remains quite weak against snipers. The Silver Bullet Gadget is also a very good option, especially in ranked. If your team has more range than the enemy team, this Gadget will enable you to break walls without wasting a Super. This Gadget is really strong in closed maps and in Brawlball to open the enemy goal at the start of the game. In very specific matchups, you could try to use the Gadget Cooldown gear instead of the damage one, for instance, in a very closed map with the Gadget Silver Bullet, but keep in mind that it is weaker than the Reload Speed and Damage Gear.

Colt shoots 6 bullets with his revolvers, and each one deals 720 damage (the 6 bullets deal a total of 4320 damage). Colt has a very long range, as well as being a Damage Dealer, which makes him insanely strong if opponents don’t dodge the bullets. You will rarely hit 6 bullets in the same attack, but with good aim you can kill most Brawlers in only 2 or 3 attacks.
Super
Colt becomes even more deadly and shoots 12 bullets (twice more than usual) that have more range and go through enemies! It even destroys walls. However, each bullet deals 640 damage, which is a bit less than a basic bullet. Colt can cycle Supers pretty easily, especially if he hits several enemies with the same Super. In closed maps, try to use it to hit enemies and destroy walls at the same time if possible.
Dual Wielding
Once activated, Colt gets a 26% speed boost, a 25% damage boost and a 5% shield. Moreover, the bullets from his Super are 120% wider, so his enemies basically can’t dodge it. This Hypercharge is quite good but remember the shield is weak, so you can’t go aggressive if you’re low HP, even Hypercharged.
Speedloader
Colt instantly gets 2 ammo back. This Gadget is very useful, especially in 1v1 situations. Indeed, when you’re out of ammo, enemies will get closer, and you can use the Gadget to surprise them and kill them. It works really well against high HP Brawlers. In Heist, when you’re hitting the safe, use it to make even more damage.
Silver Bullet
Colt shoots a mega bullet that deals 1440 damage and destroys walls. This Gadget is mostly used for two reasons: destroying walls when your team outranges the enemy team, or finish an enemy hidden behind a wall. Remember, this Gadget counts as an attack, so it will use one ammo. It’s really strong in closed maps.
Slick Boots
Colt’s movement speed is increased by 13%, so he becomes one of the fastest Brawlers in the game. Dodging becomes really easy. Moreover, keeping the distance with Brawlers you outrange also becomes easy, so it’s great against aggressive Brawlers or in Showdown.
Magnum Special
Colt’s attack range and bullet speed are increased by 11%. This Star Power is always a good option, because the range increase is huge, so several snipers won’t outrange Colt anymore and these matchups will become way easier. The bullet speed increase is also good and enemies will struggle to dodge your bullets. This Star Power is what makes Colt viable, even against hard matchups.

Score a goal by using your Super or the Silver Bullet Gadget
In Brawlball if you have the ball and your Super, you can shoot on the wall from the enemy goal and quickly put your Super (or the Silver Bullet) on it to destroy it. It will score a goal unless the enemies are aware of this technique, but they’ll still get damage from your Super to catch the ball.
Try to move in the same direction with your enemies when attacking
If you’re able to predict enemies’ movements, you can try to move in the same direction while shooting. If they don’t react quickly enough, you will hit the 6 bullets.
