The Malaise Star Power is excellent because you can apply pressure after throwing your super and it’s broken against supports that can heal. The Gadget Booster Shots is the best one, because Byron will be a bit better at close range, and can deal insane damage if you get hit by the 3 darts. This Gadget is better against aggressive compositions. It also is useful to cycle your Super faster and finish enemies more easily. In terms of gears, use the Gadget Cooldown gear to have more Gadgets per game, as it will give you more super. Use the Shield one as the second one, because Byron is quite weak.
Booster Shots
Byron's next attack shoots 3 darts instead of one, each dealing 20% less damage and 40% less healing
GADGET COOLDOWN
Reduces Gadget cooldown by 15%
Malaise
Byron’s Super will also cause opponents to receive 75% less healing from any source for 9 seconds.
Shield
Gain extra 900 HEALTH as a consumable shield. The shield regenerates in 10 seconds, when at full health
The Injection Star Power is powerful because Byron can attack multiple enemies at the same time, or heal teammates while attacking. The Shot In The Arm Gadget is also pretty strong, especially in passive modes. The healing is huge (especially for a low HP brawler like Byron), so you can continue to put pressure on the enemies while healing.
Shot in the arm
Byron uses one of his shots to heal himself 1200 per second for 3 seconds.
Injection
Every 3.5 seconds the next basic attack will pierce through targets

Byron Brawl Stars Guide
attack
Byron throws a dart, which can hit enemies or allies (but only one target per attack). It will deal 3 times 760 damage for enemies, and heal 3 times 760 health for allies (total of 2280). This attack is unique in the game, which makes Byron quite difficult to play. It’s really tempting to use ammo for attack, but Byron’s healing is sometimes much stronger, especially in a tanky composition. The poison ability of his attack is also really strong in passive modes, to prevent enemies from healing easily.
Super
Byron throws a big vial with splash effect, which can also hit allies and enemies. If an ally is hit, it will heal him for 3000 HP, and if it’s an enemy, it will deal 3000 damage. This Super can be thrown over obstacles. Just like Byron’s main attack, it can both hit enemies and heal allies, but it doesn’t have any poison effect over time. It’s really efficient to throw the vial on multiple targets, including allies. This Super is really strong and can finish enemies or save allies really easily.
Shot in the arm
Byron loses one ammo to gain 1200 HP during 3 seconds (for a total of 3600 HP). Be sure to use it when you’re low HP, because you get almost full health back. This Gadget is really strong, especially in 1v1 situations, you can continue to poison enemies and push them back while getting your health back. Don’t use it when you have only one ammo left, because you will be full health before having your ammo back, so the Gadget will be quite useless.
Booster Shots
Once activated, the next attack shoots 3 darts, but the damage is reduced by 20% and the healing by 40%. This Gadget should be used mainly for attack, because the healing is not that strong after the diminution, especially if you miss a shot on the 3 darts. The 3 darts deal a total of 4896 damage or heal 3672 HP. This Gadget is efficient against aggressive Brawlers that won’t be able to rush Byron because of it. Use it at close range or middle range to get maximum value for the 3 darts, and get your Super faster. You may also use it to finish enemies more easily.
Malaise
Enemies hit by Byron’s Super will receive 75% less healing from any source for 9 seconds. This Star Power is insanely good against healers like Pam or Poco, because their healing abilities become quite useless. Try to anticipate when the healer will have to heal his teammates, so you can throw on them the vial.
Injection
Every 3.5 seconds, Byron’s main attack go through enemies, allies and pets. This Star Power is very versatile since you can stay behind your allies, heal them, and every 3.5 seconds hit enemies at the same time. It is absolutely needed against enemy Brawlers with pets, like Tara or Mr P. Try to throw this dart when enemies and allies are aligned, so you can get maximum value of it.
Byron Brawl Stars Pro tips
Help your teammate to score
When one of your teammates has the ball, has full health and is not far from the enemy goal, use all your ammo to heal him, so that he can walk directly into the goal and score despite the enemies shooting.
Use your Super to attack and heal yourself
If an enemy rushes you and attacks you at close range, place your Super on your feet, so that your Super heals yourself and deals damage to the enemy. Don’t use auto-aim, because you will sometimes miss, which can make you lose the fight.
