Best build
Edgar’s Best Star Power is by far the Fisticuffs. It gives him more survivability because it allows him to receive more healing from the damage he deals. The Let’s Fly Gadget is also by far the best choice. With this Gadget you can have your Super almost immediatly. The Gadget Cooldown Gear is an excellent first Gear choice because of Edgar’s strong Gadget and the Super Charge Gear is also very good second Gear because it helps you to have your Super and your Hypercharge faster.

Other build
As for Edgar’s other builds, the Hardcore Gadget is a decent choice if you want more survivability. Make sure to time it properly because it decreases very quickly. The Damage Gear is a good alternative in terms of gears because Edgar deals more damage when he is low on HP, and he also heals more HP because his HP healing is based on the damage he deals. If you play in Heist, use Damage Gear instead of Super Charge Gear as you will deal more Damage to the Safe. The Hard Landing Star Power is not very strong, as it only deals 1350 damage.

Brawl Stars Guide
attack
Edgar hits enemies with two quick punches, healing himself for each landed punch. He deals 1080 damage for each punch and heals for 35% from the damage he deals (378 HP per punch= 756 HP for 2 punches). With his very fast reload speed, he can deal several attack in a row.
Super
Edgar jumps over any obstacle and gets a temporary speed boost. Use your Super to jump on an enemy in order to kill it, but make sure you have the advantage over this brawler before jumping.
Traits
Edgar charges his Super over time so you can charge it passively by waiting in bushes or behind walls.
OUTBURST
When activated, Edgar gets +20% speed, +25% damage and +25% shield. Moreover, after using his Super, he gains charging speed and reload speed for few seconds. With a better charging speed and reload speed, Edgar can deal more damage and restore more health points at the same time. You can easily make a triple kill if you use Edgar’s Hypercharge properly.
LET'S FLY
Edgar’s Super charges faster. This Gadget fills Edgar’s Super by 80% and you need only 8 sec to have your Super charged.
HARDCORE
Edgar gets a shield that protects him from the next 3300 damage. The shield gets weaker over time and is completely destroyed after 7.5 seconds. Make sure to use it when you are about to take a lot of damage.
HARD LANDING
Edgar Super now deal 1350 damage when landing on enemies. This Star Power gives Edgar’s Super more damage but it rarely makes the difference on the battlefield because of its low damage.
FISTICUFFS
With this Star Power, Edgar now receives 25% more healing from the damage he deals. For each two-punchs attack, he now heals himself of 910 HP (455×2) instead of 756 HP (378×2).

SCORE A BALL IN BRAWLBALL
When your enemies are not defending the goal properly, you can shoot the ball near the goal and immediatly jump on the ball with your Super and then shoot the ball in the goal. With this technique, your enemies won’t be able to defend your attack !
USE YOUR LET'S FLY GADGET TO SHOOT THE BALL WITH YOUR SUPER IN BRAWLBALL
When you are attacking with the ball and you can make clear shot into the goal, use your Let’s Fly Gadget to have your Super. Your enemies won’t be expecting you to have your Super and you can then score a goal from a long distance.
USE YOUR LET'S FLY GADGET IN THE BEGINNING OF THE GAME
You can use your Let’s Fly Gadget at the beginning of the game to quickly obtain your Super. With this Pro Tip, you can have your Super in 8 seconds at the beginning of the game.
