Best build
Gale’s best Star Power is definitely Freezing Snow, the slow effect is very good, since you can easily get closer to enemies that out range you. In terms of Gadgets, the best one is 100% Twister, which is really useful against Assassins and Tanks. Gale hard counters these brawlers with this build, that’s why you should always take it. For the gears, use the Damage one to destroy tanks more easily, and you can use the Shield gear as the second one, especially against bad matchups like snipers.
Twister
Gale uses his leaf blower to create a local tornado, which will push away any opponents that try to pass through.

Gale’s snow balls now also slow down opponents for 0.5 seconds.

Other build
Blustery Blow is not so good as you don’t have your Super often. The Spring Ejector is almost never used by pros, except in some maps where a wall really prevents the progression of your team. You might use the Vision gear instead of the Shield one in bushy maps, because Gale’s attack has a lot of projectiles, so enemies won’t be able to use the bushes to hide efficiently.

Gale throws 6 snowballs that create a wall. Each ball deals 560 damage to enemies. However, the wall is very wide and you rarely hit all the snowballs. This attack is quite difficult to dodge if you have a good aim.
Super
Gale creates a giant wall made of wind and snow. Every enemy hit by this wall lose 1640 HP and are pushed back to the end of the Super. This is what makes Gale one of the best tank counters in the game. You can cycle Supers pretty easily and push back any enemy that tries to rush you. The Super is very wide and impossible to dodge.
Blizzard
Once activated, Gale gets a 26% speed boost, a 15% damage boost and a 15% shield. Moreover, Gale’s Super now creates two walls of snow instead of one, dealing twice more damage and pushing back enemies twice !
Spring Ejector
A pad is dropped on the ground and remains active as long as Gale doesn’t create another pad. Any enemy or ally can use it. Every time someone goes on the pad, it waits 1 second, then throws in the air everything that remained on. You can choose the direction with Gale where enemies and allies will be thrown to, because the direction of the pad will be the direction you had when you used the Gadget.
Twister
Gale creates a small tornado that stays at the same place for a few seconds and then vanishes. Every enemy trying to pass through the tornado will be pushed away. While being pushed away, nothing can hit the enemies, so be careful because they can try to dodge your attacks by running deliberately on the tornado ! This Gadget is mostly used when an enemy tries to rush you, but you can also use it to block some part of the map.
Blustery Blow
Gale’s Super stuns enemies for 1.2 seconds, only if they hit an obstacle (water, wall, etc.) while being pushed. When using this Star Power, you must always try to push enemies against walls because the stun effect is incredibly strong. While they’re stunned, you can charge your Super back and stun them again !
Freezing Snow
Gale’s main attack slows down enemies for 0.5 seconds. This Star Power is very strong because when you hit someone that out ranges you, the slow effect will be useful for you to close the gap and kill the enemy. It’s also powerful when you try to escape, because you can slow down your followers. Finally, once an enemy is slowed, he will struggle to dodge your following attack, so you can spam your attacks on them !

Score a goal with your Super
When you’re close from the enemy goal, but there are enemies defending, you can actually shoot the ball and Super your enemies : they will be pushed away (into their goal if you can) and unable to catch the ball. Don’t push them on the ball !
Get the ball back with your tornado Gadget
When an enemy tries to score, and you don’t have enough ammo to kill him before he scores, you can use the Twister gadget on them, they will be thrown in the air and will lose the ball, you can catch it.
